Tired weary police officers man the desks at all of anchorage's police departments. Most have been closed down for lack of funding and officers.

Those few who remain fall into two categories. The last bastions of mortal justice, though they grow smaller in numbers every day, victims of the decline of honor. The much more prevalent are the only ones who look happy. Low salaries could never afford their nice cars and big safe houses in the suburbs. Pawns of politician's, criminal's and gaia knows what else.
